Two weeks ago, Strep Throat bombed me like a foreign country and I was ravaged for 2 days with coughing, running nose, fever, headaches, body aches, and insomnia. On the 3rd day, the fluid built up in my sinuses and caused my right ear to have a ruptured eardrum and blood to drip out. A doctor’s visit told me I need cough syrup, ear drops, and antibiotics.
A second doctor visit after 5 days with no big improvement – the Strep Throat sapped my sense of smell, taste, and partially deaf. Not having a sense of smell or taste robbed me of my appetite.
Different antibiotics resolved the issue. A visit to the Ear, Nose, and Throat doctor confirmed my hearing is coming back.

Back with an appetite and 4.75 senses working, I’m doing better. Still need some rest and plenty of fluids, but feel a thousand times better.
